Welcome to the new Portmarnock Live discussion forum. My hope is that over the coming months and years this will become a really useful, interesting and entertaining place on the web for people from Portmarnock.

Thank for your words of encouragement. I think small businesses and the honest efforts of the ordinary man or woman in the street are what will lift Ireland out of the doldrums. Hopefully this site can in some way help some of those efforts reach a wider audience, be they commercial or voluntary.

If you have a local club, business or organisation you would like to promote, you could have your own web page on this site. Simply
- create a new account, if you haven't already done so, then
- create your content, using our user-friendly interface.
When you're done, submit your content for review, and if it's suitable, we'll publish it on this site. You'll then be able to edit your own page, to keep it up to date, and keep your customers or members posted about what your doing.

Great to see this Forum started. Portmarnock is a great place to live with so much to do. Portmarnock is changing and hopefully the 2 new buildings in construction, will bring much need uplift to Portmarnock in a recession. Supporting local business is the key to a successful community.
