Fingal County Draft Development Plan 2011-2017 on display until 14th June, 2010

Citizens Invited to Make Submissions on Draft Development Plan

The Draft Fingal Development Plan 2011-2017 will be on display at the following locations
between 1st April and 14th June, 2010 (excluding public holidays).

Fingal County Council Offices:

• County Hall, Main Street, Swords, Co. Dublin
• Civic Offices, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15
• Balbriggan Town Hall, George’s Square, Balbriggan, Co. Dublin
• Monday – Thursday 9.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm

The Draft Plan will also be available at public libraries, and is accompanied by Environmental
Reports.

Public Information Days
There will also be several public information days when staff will be available to answer
questions and to assist members of the public who would like to make a submission. Each
public information day will be held from 10.00am to 6.00pm at each of the locations listed
below.

The Fingal County Draft Development Plan is one of the most important documents produced by the Council
because it affects all of us living and working in the county in one way or another. It is a very
democratic document which requires the approval of the Elected Councillors following
several stages of public consultation. It is essential that as many people as possible
participate in the process. The Draft Plan will set out a detailed strategy and policies for how
the County is planned for the next six years including the development of commercial,
community, recreational, agriculture and heritage interests.
